Aktion or Punta is the westernmost cape of the peninsula of Acarnania, at the entrance of the Gulf Ambracian.

It is the northernmost peninsula of Sterna bifurcated. This peninsula, as it turns to the north, approaching the opposite alluvial peninsula of Preveza and leaves a small channel that is the entrance to the bay Amvrakiko. It is just 725 meters from Preveza, and about 15 km from Vonitsa.
